The
hospital has an active Volunteer Auxiliary which
provides and sponsors many valuable services for the
patients and the employees at the hospital.
Volunteers assist throughout the hospital, delivering
flowers, distributing mail, and assisting in patient
care areas.
There are lots of ways you
can help at the hospital, and you don’t have to commit a
lot of time. Our volunteers generally work a four-hour
shift, but other time frames are available. There are
opportunities to volunteer during the day, evenings and
weekends in areas including:
- Front Desk
- Emergency Department/Outpatient
Registration Desk
- Johnnie Masters Gift Shop

Healthplex at Memorial
- C.A.R.E. unit
- Day Surgery department
- GI/GU Department
- Emergency department
- Second or third floor
- Radiology department
